LAST CALL!!! For all my golfers out there who are waiting for the last minute to register for St. Mary Golf Classic, it might be too late. We are about to reach our closing number. If you are still interested in registering, please get in touch with Mrs. JoAnne Daley (ext 110) and see if we still have room for individuals or foursomes.
Our Boy’s Lacrosse program will start this Wednesday after school with Mr. Murphy. If you did not get a permission slip or physical form yet, please see me or Mr. Murphy and have it filled out before you start practice.
The Girls on Track (6-8th grade) and Girls on the Run (3-5th grades) are under way. Girls on Track meets Tuesday and Thursday after school in the gym, while girls on the run will meet on Monday and Thursday after school in the gym. If you have not signed up yet, please stop by and see the coaches to pickup the paper work needed to participate.
If anyone has a portable basketball hoop in your driveway that you are not using any more and would like to donate it, please contact Mr. Murphy. We are looking to add baskets at lower heights for our lower grades.
Tennis, anyone? Yes, we are back on the courts with our Intramural Tennis program. We will be starting again this Tuesday at the Martin Luther Tennis courts. Parents are to drop their children off and pick them up on time. We will start at 3:30 and end at 4:30. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Simone Payne (ext 113).
If you would like to work with the Athletic Boosters, we will be holding a general meeting in April. I would love to have more parents, teachers, and friends with new ideas come join us and share your ideas. I’d like to thank the parents and friends who have done so much for our students during this school year. From our first activity, Celebrity Scoops, to our 5-K run and Kids Marathon to our upcoming Golf Classic. I hope others are willing to come and share ideas to help raise money for our athletic teams and programs.
